Frank: Hello Frank here, this weeks episode is extremely confusing. MacHale shows his distain right from the start by having his lunch during the episode and promptly announced he'd be opting out until he was finished his cheese and crackers. It seems when it comes to this padcast MacHale is just toying with us for his own amusement like a cat with a half dead mouse who's fate has long been sealed. Hickey, is not much better as his acerbic jabs at MacHale only add petrol to the volcano that is just waiting to erupt. But does it erupt? You'll have to tune in and see...

'Jambo' players and welcome back to another episode of 'Conversations with Cornelius' a padcast that has been hailed as 'A must not listen to' by all discerning eighteen century poets. Jambo, for those of you who don't know, is a Swahili greeting meaning Hello.... I'm not certain there are any listeners to the padcast in Uganda, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania or Kenya but I'm not willing to take that chance. This is an all inclusive 'padcast' so Jambo to one and to all.

 

This week on the pad we are joined by regular contributor, hilarious comedian and actor Bernard Casey. Our topic of conversation revolves mainly around the broad topic of fatherhood. We are both dads and in this sparkling conversation we discus modern fatherhood, the fathers of our childhood and our future father selves Its a laugh a minuet and we zip along at lightening speed cracking each other up all the way through.

Is Colin Murphy Superman? #21

Top o' the morning to you 'padcasters' (I realise it may not be morning when you see this but hey Im silly like that sometimes).

In this weeks 'padcast' I go on what can only be described as a fascinating deep dive into the life of serial entrepreneur and former professional sports star Colin Murphy. From his humble beginnings with the Clonakilty Under 10's GAA football team straight through to his professional rugby career and onto his Iron Man Austrian experience. Falling in love and into his Spanish sojourn followed finally to the return to his roots and his passion for business. Its a twisty turnery episode with lots of laughter and some moments of pure depth. I loved every second of it.

Enjoy with a warm beverage or a cold beverage or no beverage.... basically beverages are optional.

Hola players I hope I find you well and rested. This weeks 'padcast' is one right out of left field. What started out as a novelty Idea of doing a diary podacast episode to spark a bit of creativity on my podcasting journey took a very serious and unexpected twist midweek. The episode is honest and raw and I wasn't very sure if I was gonna even post it.... but you live by the sword you die by the sword! So, here it is... I hope you take away something from it.

What's up players... Two episodes in a week?!? Are you mad? I hear you say... Well no, I'm not completely mad 'padcasters' just a little bit and a little bit of madness is okay as far as me and my imaginary friend Felix are concerned.

Anyway, its 420 in the John Hume War Room and I have two exceptionally interesting and hilarious guests to help me celebrate in smoky style. Sinead Walsh ( Comedian ) & Conspiracy Jon ( Podcaster ) joint me (see what I did there) in one of the most enjoyable afternoons I've spend in quiet some time. We chat about Marijuana its benefits and negatives. Our first experiences and our own philosophies on this often maligned gift from the Gods.

Eventually having settled down a bit, we share our favourite Conspiracy Theories and all three stories are as far out as can be. Racism Murder, Big Business, Jealousy, Aliens and The Gods all feature in this action packed episode. So strap in and enjoy the ride...

This weeks episode of the 'padcast' tells the tale of an eighteen year old Gaelic footballer from a small fishing village way down on the south west tip of Ireland and his remarkable journey to All Ireland glory. The once eighteen year old is now a thirty year old father of one, comedian Bernard Casey aka 'The Gossip' aka 'The Nephew'. Its a fantastic insight into the life of a young man as he represents his parish on the path to All Ireland glory. Fast paced and filled with off the cuff improv and funny characters it was a delight to record. I hope you in enjoy it as much as I did recording it.
