What up players and thank you for popping by again so soon. This weeks episode of the 'padcast' tells the tale of an eighteen year old Gaelic footballer from a small fishing village way down on the south west tip of Ireland and his remarkable journey to All Ireland glory. The once eighteen year old is now a thirty year old father of one, comedian Bernard Casey aka 'The Gossip' aka 'The Nephew'. Its a fantastic insight into the life of a young man as he represents his parish on the path to All Ireland glory. Fast paced and filled with off the cuff improv and funny characters it was a delight to record. I hope you in enjoy it as much as I did recording it.Ā

The chat ebbs and flows gloriously from Bernard's humble beginnings to his sold out Vicar street show early last year ( 2020 ). There are some fascinating anecdotes in this forty minuet chin wag none more intriguing than a gig Bernard did that almost finished his career before it began. Find out what incident changed the way Bernard approached his career and how even though he was a comedian of neigh on seven years he appeared to all to be an over night success. Its a funny interesting and compelling conversation and the first of many I intend to have with this funny Kerryman. Enjoy.
